It is so nice to be on a forum with such great people! I getting ready to go to Playa Del Carmen Mexico and on a couple forums figuring things out. Some people can just be cruel!

It's the laid back helpful attitudes on this forum! That made me want to pay for a membership.
People here will help you learn anything grilling, smoking, curing, fermenting,....
They'll also cause you to spend untold amounts of $$$. To help you extend your craft! LoL

Yea same as Jim.Paid to be a member cause the folks here seem to truly want to help. No telling how many years of grilling and smoking are represented on this forum.

Yep had similar experience with a Chevy forum yrs ago.

Probably would still be burning the water if I hadn't found SMF and the friendly advice and tips.
While I certainly don't consider myself an expert, most cooks are edible now

I’ve been brewing beer for a long time. I call my hobby “the most expensive way to get cheep beer.”

I've been smoking for much less time than brewing, but I can see how this hobby can get very expensive.

At least I don’t have to buy beer to go along with this hobby.

And I agree, everyone here seems to be here to help others learn. I have been on other forums where that’s not the case.

I have been a member of many forums over the years and there are so many that I refuse to visit anymore since they are full of jackoffs.

Luckily this spot is not like that and it makes me want to help and share where I can. I have also learned a lot from other friends on this site.

This is the only forum I belong to anymore, but use some others on an as needed basis without joining. I've encountered some serious peckerheads across the web but fortunately they seem to avoid SMF.
