Why is it that when I search Turkey sausage, as well as "turkey sausage" I get several CHICKEN recipes?
I don't like turkey as it is, but my kids raise them for FFA and I tend to get over 150# of breasts and theighs.
I try to make it eatable by making sausage with items that "cover" the flavor.
I absolutely can't stand yard bird (typically) , so why the mixed search results?
If there are not many turkey sausage recipes, shouldn't the results come up with only the few that are available?
Just checking to see if I am entering the correct key words...
It's sort of like searching for steaks, and getting recipes to make a snickers bar...
Please help me out here. I have to get rid of this turkey meat!! LOL!
(I did make some spinach, chicken sausage last night that the family really loved... me, not so much....) I'm a beef eater at heart...

Well, since turkey is "sort" of bland, try grinding some beef cheeks with it.. I find the cheeks flavor awesome and powerful beef flavor..

Have you tried doing the cured smoked thighs like state fair style smoked drums?

Try this here and see if you like it:

Here is another post where I did cured smoked turkey breast for sandwich meat and WOW again!

I understand where you may not care for bland and dry meat like turkey often turns out but if you follow the posts above I would basically bet you that you get an amazing turkey product you won't mind eating that isn't just sausage :)

Other than that, I think the search results are weighted. You get turkey first and then anything that may have had a reference to "turkey" in the posts popping up after, and then after that maybe something where a turkey post had common words/terms that are appearing in another post which likely would match up to chicken posts since they are both treated so similarly :)
