They say birds don't have a taste bud and you can mix ground red pepper with the bird seed
and Mr. squirrel will stay away. :D

I had heard this - but - I have to admit it is more fun to watch them try and fail. The more miserable they fail, the more entertaining.

No No No---Then they'd get to enjoy the Red Pepper taste, and they'd be trying to steal my Smoked Meat!!!

I'll trade your gobbler's for the turkey buzzards we have circling the neighborhood. I finally saw one on the ground the other day. Man was it one butt ugly bird.

I got a power line in back of my house & they often sit on the top of the tower.
I get this strange feeling I'm being watched whenever I go outside.
I think they're just waiting for me to Drop!! #$%&*()(*& !!!

That's funny . Walked on to a 4 story years ago , slab decks no roof , to start outside walls . Looked up and 4 or 5 buzzards flying in a circle over job site . My buddy says " That's a bad sign "
Yeah must be a loser already .

The words out about your no access feeder .
I don't think they're happy .

I got a picture some where, but we can't find it:
A couple years ago at one of the Cell Phone sites my Son's guys were working, there was two Buzzards fell down into the bottom of a Monopole Tower. They couldn't get out, because it's too narrow for their wings, and it's straight up about 200'. They had been in there awhile because one was dead, and the other was eating him.
So the guys removed the access panel at the bottom & the one crazy guy "Jim" (6' 8") pulled him out & rescued him.
The picture is of Jim holding the Buzzard against his chest like you would hold a pet chicken.
I told him, "You're nuts---That bird could rip your throat out in seconds!!" LOL---He said "Nahh...."

I figure anybody who enjoys climbing 200' to 600' every day aint quite right to begin with!!!

We gotta search for that pic some more!!!
