Soon I will be doing a group buy of pellets which leaves me question of where to store them. I have access to a near endless supply of 5 gallon food grade air tight buckets but that’s a lot of buckets.

I stumbled on these Airtight Pet Food Container.
So in my searching and bouncing between quarts, gallons and so forth I guess I miss read this as gallons and not pounds.

Anyone store this amount of pellets? Experience with this container?

That's how much I buy at a time. Where are you storing them? I just keep them in the bags they come in, inside a storage shed. For my working pellets, I empty the bags into a charcoal storage container that hold 40lbs.

Your link is for 55 pounds, not gallons., You'd need nine or ten of them.

Yep could just leave in bags, just don't set directly on concrete. Haven't experienced, but claim is they draw moisture.

Plan is my garage, it has a storage loft area but I’m not sure how bad humidity is in there and most companies say do not store in the their bags they sell them in.

Thanks, I guess in my search and some things being gallons and some quarts I overlooked this was pounds.

Was hoping to have some sort of storage container that I could scoop what I need from and add back what I don’t use.

520 lbs of pellets? That would last me til Christ's second coming!! I have a few toys in my garage, but a pallet jack isn't one of 'em!! Heavens t' betsy!!

I’ve gone through 80lbs in a little over a week, granted it’s a new toy for me.

I leave in the bag and setting on concrete without any adverse affects ,ymmv. working 6 day weeks and the virus has cut down on my hunting adventures for pellets and cooking stuff. I reckon job security but it gets old

I keep mine in screw-cap-topped jugs, but not until I have to open the bag they came in.
I have some in jugs for 9 years & they still work Great. (see below)
