I felt like eating some steak today So I went down to Safeway to see what they had and found some steaks for $3.50 a piece needless to say I picked some up. I cooked them over some Stubs natural charcoal that I got for half off at Lowes because it was a busted bag.

Here they are all prepped and ready for the Grill. Seasoned with garlic powder, salt and pepper.

And all done and ready to serve.

Served them up with some bush's beans and a baked potato I made in my food steamer.

I was actually pretty impressed how tender the steaks were for being so cheap I would definitely buy them again.

Those are shoulder clod steaks from the arm shoulder in the forequarter, and they do make a very nice london-broil type steak, esp. when cut thicker and cooked medium to medium rare!  They look great! Did you get a sliced pic, or did they disappear too quick, lol!

Unfortunately my phone died before I could get a sliced pick and I lost my digital camera

, but they were a nice medium rare
