Good morning. Newbie smoker and builder here. Fortunately work in a custom stainless shop......so.......

With all of the fab capabilities you have available, when you have a “back side seam” like I see inside your firebox, (which is about the only unfinished welded seam on your build pictures) do you have a way of purging, or otherwise protecting it from oxide formation? I purge all of my tube stuff, and have a glove box for little things, but I was just wondering, as most everything looks so pretty...

Not worried about it on the inside of a smoker.

I have as much argon and three-phase electrons as I could reasonably want.

Unfortunately, my floor space is such that I don’t have room for a big hydraulic shear and press brake, so I kinda think I’m out of your league. That being said, a guy can always wish...

Nice work.. Hope you post some pics of this rig in operation.

Looking at something like that makes me realize just how bad I am at metal work. ;)
