With spring and, hopefully, warmer weather just around the corner, it was time to get my Masterbuilt gas passer in shape for the season. I pressure-washed the racks and hit the inside of the chamber with a little high-pressure water to knock out any critters seen and unseen. Next, I ran it at full temp for an hour to dry it out and make sure the inside was semi-sanitary.

Since the smoker was already hot, why not throw in a small mess of wings? I like the 10-lb bag of frozen wings from Costco. I'm paring this batch with the Kirkland brand Sriracha dry rub. Yes, I'm trying to justify the executive membership. The que view is at the 50-minute mark. Now, at 80 minutes, it is time to pull them and chow down.

Oh yeah, I'll be looking for that 10 lb. bag of wings at Costco. Those look delicious, Sonny.

Looks great, and smart, no sense letting a hot smoker go to waste.

Was at Costco today , picking up some propane ( their price is going up some again ) payed $19.00 for a 20 pound fill up. Last year was 12 - 14 .

The wings were cheaper than the drums today. But still too high.

How was their Sriracha sauce.
