Split Ribeye (Bear Style)
Well, we decided it was time to split another Ribeye.
We’ve been doing that for awhile now, because neither of us eats very much at one sitting. (getting old)
Plus we both like ours done about Medium Rare, but she doesn’t like Smoke on hers, so I get my Smoky Prime Rib & She gets her Ribeyes without Smoke.
So I cut some of the less fatty eye out of it for Mrs Bear, and I enjoy the rest of the more fatty parts for my Supper & the leftovers for other things.
So I start by putting one Ribeye in a Zip-lock, along with some “Lawry’s Teriyaki Marinade”.
I leave it in the fridge for anywhere from 2 hours to 6 hours—This time 4 hours, and I flip it a couple times to make sure that great marinade gets all around.
Then it’s out to my Weber “Q” for a few flips over the fire.
After it’s all Hot & Bubbly, I bring it in & cut a small section out of the Eye for Mrs Bear, and put it on a plate for her, and we add the Veggies she got ready for us.
That’s about it, time to sit down & eat !!
BTW: I took a bunch of Pics here & there for your enjoyment, and I made some things with the Leftovers, that I’ll be posting soon.
Bear
One Nice "Choice" Ribeye ready for the Marinade:
I gave it 4 hours of Lawry's Teriyaki Marinade:
Onto my Weber "Q":
Closer look after I poured some of the leftover Teriyaki Marinade on, from the Zip-lock bag:
Working on some Grill marks:
Getting close!!
Time to bring it in for Supper:
Ready to split:
A peek inside where I cut Mrs Bear's portion out for her:
Some mixed Veggies & Roasted Reds on the side, and it's time to chow down!!
