I smoked some spares while my son was here from South Carolina last weekend. Plate was complete with ribs, beans, potato salad, and homemade sourdough bread.

What a tasty looking plate of grub!!! The sound of homemade bread made me salivate, bet that was a treat!

Thanks men, I can assure you that there were some miserable people who pushed away from the table that night.
 
I say wow! alot but WOW! Goat, from one Boer breeder to another want to pass on the WOWs! about the spares. I was the recent newbie to this site asking about the smoking of a goat(one of our Boer bucks-he had in correct ears). Figured he may taste good. Rather eat him than sell at the sale barn. We smoke lots of different meats but never caprito. Take care.

I have a wedding shower/party to cook for this weekend (200 people). I will be cooking the brisket, goat, and beans. I will have some pics from that after it happens.
