So I have been jonesing for some sticky chicken and didn't feel like going through the whole monty for a full out cook. I bought some chicken wings and made some sticky chicken wings. This is the same as Dr. BBQ's competition chicken thighs, but with wings. Marinate in italian dressing over night, then sprinkle with rub (I use my own), smoke until cooked through and then crisp up on the gas grill and sauce (Dr. BBQ's thick and sticky glaze). I usually make sticky chicken for cookouts and always get great responses over it.

Those look great clayshooter!! How long did you have to smoke for? I've always thought Italian salad dressing and chicken were made for each other

I had them on the smoker for about 2 hours running between 225F-250F. Another 10-15 mins on the gas grill on low to crisp the skin and sauce them.

Nice looking wings you got plated.

Point for sure.
