Well, the snow just started about 15 minutes ago and it's coming down at quite a clip. We're forecast for about an inch per hour for the next 10 hours. Gonna' be a long, cold day here! Anyone else getting snowed in yet?

LOL

Looks like a winter wonderland. If it makes you feel better the weather is terrible here

And what is your definition of "terrible", Vlap? A couple clouds in the sky and holding steady at 70 degrees?

LOL...

Ya, I guess I do feel a little bit better! Or was that a little bet bitter?

but its supposed to get bad this weekend so I will have tough conditions while fishing. By bad I do mean bad, 20 degree temp drop, 20-25 knot winds and thunderstorms. Not fun conditions to fish in at all especially with thunderstorms when you have 3 highly conductive lightning rods sticking off the back of your kayak.

I do like the pictures though. Its been 7 years since I was in conditions like that.

Ya, I was just razzin' ya... I was in Miami a few months ago and sat through the worst storms I've ever been in. Had a few scary moments there. Although the snow is a real pain in the arse, it is quite beautiful.

There's nothing like going outside after a heavy snowfall and being able to hear a pin drop for miles.

Patty, I was looking for the green face ;)

I love that quiet of the snow. The thing I hate most is that sound of snow squishing under my feet... I do love the storms here. Intense storms have always fascinated me. Went out for a walk in a tropical storm once. That was interesting. Could barely walk or stand up. Just about at the mercy of the wind.

LOL! I thought about posting a picture of my ice, but with my luck, who knows what would have shown up!

Your lucky Monstah, that is what I miss about Minnesota SNOW! I live in Columbus, OH now and allthough it is a wonderful place to live the winters here suck. No snow, just rain usually. No ice fishing, just sitting sround wishing you were ice fishing. No snowmobiles, pretty dang boring. Give me 20* and SNOW and I am a happy dude.

I grew up in Mn snow. Was born in Minneapolis. Also lived in Iowa. Loved that white stuff when I was a kid. Not so much anymore. Was In D.C. many years ago when a few feet fell. Shut that town down. I had some fun for the first few hours and after that the thrill wore off and I decided to move back to Florida.

No snow, but our trees are frozen. Roads aren't bad now, earlier all ice. Still calling for 2 -4 inches of snow.

All we're getting here is rain so far... it has been raining all day.
