SmokinWelders First Smoker Ever!!!!

Hi everyone! Glad to be here. I have been welding and fabricating for many years, but when it comes to smokers I am a newbie for sure. Tommorow I am bringing home a 250 gallon propane tank. The tank will be cleaned on the outside and painted to keep rust at bay while I build my trailer. I want to have the trailer there to set the tank on while I build the smoker. I am going to have lots of questions so please be kind.

....still at the yard. Tommorow I will choose the best one........what should I look for when choosing?

Welder, morning and welcome....   Have it cleaned on the inside so you don't get blown up when you cut into it....   Pick the tank that has the thickest steel... they all may be the same but you never know...  Dave
