Smoking whole turkey

Looking to find out if a 12lb turkey fits in a portable table top smoker.
I have a Pit Boss pro series portable

what kind of height do you measure from your grate to the top of your lid?

If you have the turkey already you can sit it on the smoker frozen and see if it fits. I'd worry that even if it does it may not leave much room for heat to circulate properly

Yeah I am thinking maybe I have to spatchcock it and see

Not sure that’s going to work, very tight for air flow.

I am going to try spatchcock see if that gets low enough

Spatchcocking the bird would be the best chance of getting it to work
