Hey all, new to the site. I always hate reheating food and serving it to people. Has anyone had success in smoking ribs a day before serving? If so, how did you reheat. I usually do a variation of 3-2-1 with my ribs for the record. Thanks!

I have done oven & grill. I usually do 3-2-1 also. I usually will finish off on a hot grill. If you know you are going to reheat, I would leave off the last hour or so and do that on the grill the next day.

i almost always smoke mine a day or 2 or 3 days before, i reheat in a covered baking dish with a little water or apple juice in a 275 oven for about 45-60 minutes, i wouldn't add any bbq sauce while smoking just when your reheating. my opinnion smoked meats always taste better when you let them sit a day or two before eating.

WELCOME! I never eat smoked food same day I smoke it. For ribs they MUST be sauced and seared on a grill. No wrap, take to 200F IT, cool, seal, and chill. You can also freeze them!

Yes! The next day cut the racks in 1/3's and put them in the toaster. Turn the dial to the crispiness setting and push down. By the time it pops up you will have delicious melt in your mouth ribs!

JK! Looks like you already got some pretty good advice. You can pull them the day before, let them cool, and wrap in foil. Re-heat in the oven or smoker in the foil packets the next day. Or like others mentioned pull a little earlier and sear/sauce on the grill the next day. Don't think you can go wrong!

Since there are only my wife and I we have leftovers. Wrap them in foil and warm them in a 300F oven.

There aren't usually a lot left for me and the Mrs.
I just nuke them for a minute in a covered container with a bit of sauce as a "side"...

SV set at 140 can hold for a long time without drying out if you pulled them off and vacuumed pretty soon after they are cooked
