What is a Newfie brisket you may ask? It's what I call a smoked Bologna chub. Making them for my and my daughter's birthday party with family and some friends. Chicken has been on for about an hour at 250ish and Bologna is about to go on. Smoking with some rum Barrel chunks and hickory. Also got a bird on the gas grill on the rotisserie. Got some qview of course!

Smoked bologna? You must be from Labradror. A newfie would smoke cod toungues, toutons, moose balls and scrunchions.

Haha. I just call it that because around here we call a fried Bologna slice a Newfie steak.
