This looks great. I have never done smoked meatloaf before but have wanted to try it. The screen looks like a good idea, so you can actually move them in and out. I'll remember that! Great post. Thank you.
 
Curious about the oatmeal. I've always used Italian bread crumbs, and enjoy it that way, but I'm intrigued by the oatmeal. How much do you use, and do you grind it up into a flour, or just throw it in there? Looks great, by the way!!
 
I use oatmeal in my meatloaf. No need to grind it up, just add it in small quantities until you get the texture you want.
