Been doing a little reading here, so I figured I'd sign up and say hi. I've been trying my hand at smoking meat for a little over a year using a Brinkmann Smoke'n Pit. So far, my pulled pork seems to be the crowd favorite, but I've also tried my hand at brisket, ribs and a couple of birds. I'm planning to try another brisket this weekend, so I'm just doing some homework before the big event.
A little about me...
I live in Owasso, Oklahoma and as I mentioned, smoking with the Brinkmann Smoke'n Pit. I'm an electronics tech for a downhole (oil) gauge manufacturer in Tulsa and I enjoy amateur radio, boating, fishing, camping, shooting sports, World of Warcraft (Bronzebeard), general aviation and of course BBQ.
Thanks for a great forum... see ya'll around.
