I have decided to buy a new smoker since my Pit Boss Pro went down. I have narrowed it down to the Smokin' It 3 and the 3D. I am concerned about how long the digital controls will last compared to the Analog Control system. I do like the fact that the 3D will go up to 325 degrees, and keeps the temp inside with in 3 degrees. Wondering if anyone on here can speak to the durability of the Smokin' It 3D Model. Thanks

Welcome! No help, but here are a couple threads that may provide some info.

You could certainly buy the analog version and in the future add an Auber PID, there's a full tutorial for rewiring the analog for adding an Auber on the Smokin-It website and it looks amazingly simple.

Thanks for your reply. If I did that would it be able to get up to 325 degrees with the heating element the model 3 has in it.
