I cannot get my smoker over 140 degrees. Any Tips? it is a Charcoal Smoker.

Vent placements
Maximum temp before loading with meat

This would give us a good basis to start with.
 
edit ... I deleted my post .. I read what you posted, researched your past posts and see you inherited a GrillPro Vertical Smoker which is a gas smoker

​Can you please take a pic of your smoker and post it?
