Smoker Newbie

Hello all, my name is Alex and hail from Miramar, FL. (just north of Miami).  I have been grilling since my Dad decided to teach me the great art of charcoal lighting, but have never owned a smoker.  I am an avid tailgater and enjoy trying new recipes for my crew every Saturday during college football.  I have used wood chips in my grill to provide that smoke flavor that we all love and finally got the chance to step up to a full smoker by purchasing a Great Outdoors Smoky Mountain 16" x 34" Gas Smoker.  I look forward to sharing my experience with you all and learning from the many years of expertise that exist on this forum.
