Hello all, just finished my first smoke in the Oklahoma joe highland. Now I'm wondering how much I should clean it.

I brushed the food grates while they were still warm, paper towel'd the bottom of the CB to get the drippings, scooped the ash out of the FB and gave the bottom a quick paper towel over and called it a night.

I didn't wash or overburn the grates.

This all sound about right?

Sounds good Thumbs Up
I would line the bottom of mine with tinfoil for easier cleanup.
