I needed to create a burger to enter in a contest for the foodie groups July 2022 calendar pic. Here it is the “Smokehouse Better than just Bacon Cheeseburger”. An 11 oz 80/20 Black Angus sirloin burger ,smoked cheddar, 1/4” succulent smoked pork belly strips , smoked Gouda, bacon wrapped Vidalia onion slice and fried jalapeños. Threw in a little peppery arugula and a tasty habanero bbq aioli. Belly was a small piece of Berkshire belly rubbed with my keto sweet heat rub. Burgers were seasoned with a store bought rub I really like. All smoked in the Lang today with cherry wood. The belly was luscious tender at 205F The burgers were basically one giant smoke ring lol red on the outside and into the burger a good quarter inch
