One of my first briskets done on my SmokeFire. I tried a few times on my 22” kettle but I just kept ruining it. My wife could get them tight on the kettle. Got the SmokeFire and now we have good brisket everytime.

I don’t know why it’s repeating pics sorry, tried to fix but it didn’t.
 
That sliced brisket looks mighty good. Got some Texas style sauce for that?
A big hunk of meat like that would be difficult for a kettle.

Kinders SPG, and a longhorn Texas Beef Rub. I personally have found that some salt and black pepper are a preferred seasoning.
