Decided on a non traditional labor day cookout. Copied a Dinners driven and dives recipe. Smoked turkey breast with stuffing waffles and mashed potatoes. Man it turned out good. The only correction we would make it cooking the stuffing waffle on a lower setting.

Looks awesome and love that show! Is the waffle just moist stuffing browned in the mini waffle iron? If so I might give this a keto spin by doing a chaffles using the spices one would use in dressing. Big points on this.

I remember that episode, and have always wanted to try the stuffing waffles. Looks really good!

Looks awesome! I remember watching that episode. I'll have to remeber this around Thanksgiving! Nice job!

Hell Yeah!
That looks pretty darn good.
I'd like a little more gravy on mine, please/thanks.

I think that Stuffing Waffle will definitely be given a try by me.
One of my favorite post holiday meals is turkey and stuffing formed into a patty and fried with plenty of butter, then topped with gravy.

There have been some other interesting waffle options posted here.
Mac-n-Cheese Waffle, another guy in myself both gave them a try.
They were a work in progress I never got back to.

Another good one that I do once in awhile are my savory Southwest cornbread waffles.
Along the lines of fried cornbread but waffle and they're really good!

OK that is awesome! I'll take a plate of that any day of the week.

Triple D does show some good stuff!!! A couple of weeks ago we were in Bozeman Mt. and had breakfast at a Triple D showcased Diner...Storm Castle Cafe (1.5 hour wait...it was a 4 hour wait when we sat down)....We got their Monte Cristo.....It is a shaved ham (self farmed and house made) & Swiss stuffed french toast dipped in pancake batter & deep fried. Served with hot strawberry rhubarb syrup........ Just saying after having the Monte Cristo I would wait 4 hours for it again without a second thought!

Stuffing waffle!What a great idea!

The funny thing is that as I type I'm looking at my waffle maker sitting in a pile of things that were going to the thrift store tomorrow.Might have to rethink that.
