Smoked Salmon/Trout Caviar

Fish or other thread ? Non fish ? Getting trout and salmon ,looking for recipes to smoke the fish eggs /caviar any help on this ? I came across a thread that the person was smoking the belly fat and  or grilling it ? I have been tossing it for years , so again anyone on the second item as well ? Thank you..

Ihave never eaten trout roe.  Salmon roe is good to go without smoking.  Yumm!

Like Al, I am at a loss on this one.
