I make the links in the recipe below several time a year and recently used smoked paprika instead of regular paprika. Honestly, I could not tell the difference. The recipe uses only one tablespoon of paprika for five pounds of meat and there are a lot of other spices so the difference in the paprikas was not noticeable.
