Smoked corn on the cob

Wife asked if I could smoke corn on the cob! Said I think so but have told her I have no idea how! Told her I would ask my friends on the smoking meats forum. So how about it any advice on smoking corn on the cob?

I would have no idea how I grill it over charcoal in the RecTeq set at 400-450. I do that in husk. I will be watching to see other methods.

We do this all the time. I typically give it some indirect heat for a while an then I like to put them right over the heat for a little sear action. butter, any oil of your liking and unlimited flavor profiles with seasoning. This has been the summer of street corn around here. due to dental work in progress, we've been de-cobbing the corn, mix it with some cream cheese and from there it's what you want to add - jalapenos, hatch chili's , bacon bits, green onions, shredded parmesan, the options are endless and the flavor is just awesome. I've thrown em in the pellet cooker as well.

We love corn!

I soak the ears in water for a few minutes and then into the smoker. Wait for the steam to come out and they are done

Wow this is crazy as I haven't been on for a while but just a week earlier the GF asked me the same thing. Glad to see this thread as I hadn't had a chance to get on and ask for the advice myself.
