OK, so I tried this last weekend and I can't seem to get enough of it! I used a different rub (no salt, no sugar) and a Bear Mountain Sweet blend wood pellet. I followed Jeff's recommendation and let it go at 180 for 2 hours, stirring every 30 minutes. The second time I made it I doubled the mixed nuts, just to suit my own taste.

Looks like the rain has passed so I might smoke up another batch today. Buying the ingredients means you have enough for several batches. This will make into the mix for the poker games this fall!
