Smoked Butt & homemade Sausage Jambalaya ~ Foamheart

So I am sure my recipe is on here already for any that want it.

Hot cajun pecan smoked sausage, with some cut up butt roast.



It just looked to pretty not to share. Taste good too! Meat was spoon tender and the sausage was toxic
hot.

You'll never meet a coonazz male who doesn't make the worlds best jambalaya and/or gumbo..... LOL They take great pride in their cooking 'em especially around the holidays and hunting/fishing/football seasons at the camp or campuses.

Jambalaya Basics I am sure this will be a short explanation. Jambalaya is the opposite of gumbo. Gumbo is soup over rice, jambalaya is the soup cooked into the rice. You use the same ingredients, you just decide if you have clean plates to eat on or clean bowls. Jambalaya does not normally...

Any sausage will do, When traveling outside the world of coonass, Kielbasa really is a good substitute. I mean how can ys go wrong with garlic sausage?

If you need to see a recipe to refresh your memory (there are also a couple of links to others also), I referenced mine above to Chef JJ. Every Coonazz makes Jambalaya and thinks theirs is the best, of course they don't all come from the world's capital, home of the Jambalaya Festival..... (Chuckles)
