I about at the end of two big chubs of blue gold sausage. Now I know why people talk about it so much. Really good. Wish it was easier to get. Looked around trying to find a copy cat recipe. I guess I will just go back to AC Leggs #10 with sage added.

I’ve never heard of that sausage, but in searching around it seems they are located in Jones Oklahoma. And there are only two ways to buy their sausage, either from one of their fundraising partners like school organizations such as FFA or others similar. Or directly from their retail store in Jones. Here is a screen shot from their web page.

We buy Blue Gold sausage every year from a friend of my wife whose kids are involved with FFA. I had the Blue Gold Chicken tenders last night as a matter of fact. I agree Brian, it's good sausage.

Sam sent me some Con Yeager Southern belle that was really good .

I just did 7 lbs. of Leggs 109 with added sage and black pepper . Has more kick than the #10 .

All a matter of taste , but that Con Yeager was good in my opinion .
Heads up I sent Rich the Breakfast Bell which is the hot and spicy one. Pretty close to "the one". Shoot me a DM if you want a sample. Semi local butcher does lots of things well and they use the CY stuff. Heads up that site is sorta sneaky. LOTS of cool stuff "hidden". Check out the spices, seasonings, and herb area. IMO these guys probably sell LOTS of mixes to retailers so they have to do this sort of thing. This one has Rich written all over it.

OK NEWS FLASH. I was just informed that Pruitts Foods in Durant sells Blue Gold sausage & chicken strips. This is unconfirmed but I will know soon enough :emoji_sunglasses:

Brian, my wife literally told me this right after I replied to your message! We might have a B&G dealer, I used to know a few dealers but that was back in the early 80's.........

Oh yeah, I love this stuff. Our local Harp's grocery store carries it now. Used to be you could only buy it through fundraisers.

Never heard of it, but they do list who is doing a fundraiser and city on website. Several groups in OK & KS and a couple in TX.
