So we are having burgers on the grill tonight..(boring)... So I decided to smoke it up and I got out my pellet smoker tray from Todd, and some cherry pellets and see what I can come up with....
Cool. I regularly add smoke to foods that I grill. An old cooking mantra: Add flavour at every step. Smoke ring on a burger = awesomeness. For burgers, I create more a sausage patty.
It's funny, I smoke burgers for chili all the time, but I've never just smoked one for a sandwich!
I'll have to give it a try!
