Tonight I might have possibly cooked the best hamburgers I've ever cooked in my life. Sorry that there are no pictures as I wasn't expecting such a great outcome. Here is my recipe. Let me know what you think. If it sounds good and you try it post some pictures.

Thanks,
Niel
Rookie Smoker

2 lbs ground brisket

4 tsp weber gourmet burger seasoning

2 tbs brown sugar

1 tbs coarse ground black pepper

1/4 tsp onion powder

Dash of smoked chipotle powder

1/4 c squeeze butter

1/4 c worcestershire sauce

8 slices your favorite cheese

4 hamburger buns

Mix weber gourmet burger seasoning with the ground brisket. Mix to blend the seasoning throughout the meat but still keeping the ground beef texture. Put meat in the refrigerator. Start your grill/smoker and set for a 225°F - 250°F cook. Mix well brown sugar, coarse ground black pepper, onion powder, and a dash of smoked chipotle powder. When your grill/smoker is holding temperature pull meat from the refrigerator. Loosely form 4 1/2 pound patties about 3/4 inch thick. Dust both sides of the patties with the brown sugar seasoning. Press your thumb about 1/2 way through the center of each of the patties. Put the patties thumb dent side up on the grill/smoker. After about 30 to 45 minutes heat the squeeze butter and worcestershire sauce in the microwave for 20 to 30 seconds and stir well. "Mop" the patties generously with the butter and worcestershire suace. When the patties have reached an internal temperature of 150°F top each of the patties with 2 slices of cheese. Continue to cook the patties until they reach and internal temperature of 160°F. Pull the patties when they reach an interal temperature of 160°F. Cover the patties and let rest for 5 minutes. While the patties are resting toast your buns. Assemble with your favorite toppings and enjoy. Total cook time for me was about 1 and 1/2 hours using mesquite pellets with the traeger set at 225°F.
