Just came across Smoke Daddy product that you can attach to a pellet grill for extra smoke. Anybody use these? Im wanting to add more smoke flavor to my cooks. I tried the Amezen smoke tube. Hard to keep it lit. Looking for other alternatives. Any advice on the Smoke Daddy please tell. Thanks.

We have a couple smoke chief smoke generator we picked up as manufacturers samples years ago. They work pretty well - huge smoke output, but you have to check them every half hour or so. They don't have the "cant get to light/stay lit" problems common with tubes/mazes. Its nice because it uses pellets (smoke daddy uses chips), so you don't have to store another type of fuel. We have used it (with a custom adapter) on a masterbuilt electric and on a gas BBQ (poor man's cold smoker).

That said, I don't think I would use in on one of our pellet rigs. On pellet smokers, if I want more smoke flavor, I find it best to just turn the temp down and run low-and-slow.
