SMF members best Rub 2023?

Had an idea and I wanted to get some feedback. With the upcoming N Fl Gathering I was thinking if anyone wanted to thru their rub into a contest for best SMF member rub 2023 then you could send some to me and I would cook up something with all the entries and have the members attending vote for the rub they like the best.

Anyone interested? Thoughts?

I'll not be at the meet up but that is a heck of an idea. Kinda like a throw down. Depending on how many entries you get like a half or quarter slab of ribs each.

Nice thing about that big hunk of meat Robert is bringing is it will cook for a bit so no problem prepping other things.

But that is only if there is enough interest.

If there is enough interest, I'll send a bottle of my beef rub that I put together a few years ago and a bottle of my pork rub. This could be fun if we get enough involvement.

But that is only if there is enough interest.
