Thank you Chop for the like and kindly words. One complaint I had was the bottom of the roll got soggy.

Appreciate the like and compliment Jay. Skidmark isn't his official name, but he's been called skidmark since he was a young puppy. Maybe a month or two into his life. I've had a few dogs over the years and they've all had nicknames that kinda stuck with them throughout their lives:

Chris
I've always done the same with my dogs my last yellow Lab was named Stoopid he was the smartest Lab I've ever been around, but he did goofy things, so we called him Stoopid his whole life.

Hard cider - new fangled stuff?
Good lord man, this country was founded on hard cider.

Braz remember your talking to a guy who still uses a rotatory phone, and has never owned a cell phone.

Chris, that is one insane burger buddy!

Great Idea with the bacon weave.

BIG LIKE!

John

MORE bacon. Thanks John for the like and compliment really appreciate them.

Chris

Now that's a BURGER!!!!!!!!
Love the bacon weave on the grill idea--I'll be stealing that.
The last beef we got butchered, I had the burger ground 95/5. That way I don't feel the least bit guilty eating a quarter or half pound of bacon with it. Gotta eat healthy, you know--that's why I always add a slice of tomato.
POINT
Gary

Clara Peller sure won't be saying "Where the Beef" on this one Grary. Appreciate the like, nice words and especially the tips for making this a healthy burger.

YEAP! Looks like I’m moving East. Gonna try me one of those ‘Chris burgers’!
And what is the secret sauce? A slight hint maybe? I will play the banjo for you.
Lastly, try Hamms.....Born in the land of sky blue waters....

Thanks Justin, the sauce is basically Miracle whip, ketchup, onion powder, garlic powder, dry mustard, chopped up(minced) dill pickle/juice from the jar, and hot sauce. A few miles to the east of me - you'll fit right in.

We've also had a Sixtoe, stinky, fat butt, and white dope to name a few. I won't get into the nicknames I have for my kids.

Wow sorry Chris I'm way late on this great thread. But what an awesome looking burger what ever you want to call it. That's the thing about this forum somebody always giving us new ideas.

Just found your burgers Chris - very nice but skid mark looks a little bored?
I love the bacon. Way cool and a great idea.

Holy Crap Chris that burger looks awesome!!! I love how you do the bacon weave and add it to the burger, that way each bite is covered with bacon!

Sorry for being late to the party, glad I didn't miss this.

Thanks tex, skid is just getting old and hot. We've had something like 7 days straight of 90*+ weather with clear skies and humidity. It's taking it's toll on both of us. Appreciate the kind words and like also.

Pull up a chair xray - noone is ever late to a party at our house. Nobodies ever complained about to much bacon. Appreciate the like and compliment.

Thank you Robert for both the like and compliment. Every once in a while the wife will leave me alone and that can be a dangerous thing.

Flipping over no, initially getting them on the grill in one piece a little. I just kind of slip my spatula under one side of the weave or meat and just gently give a slight pull, and slide it off the cutting board. Both are sitting on top of parchment paper when I make them and slide them onto the grill. Just don't miss your target area.

Thanks for the compliment HT.

If a heart attack take me out its gonna be from eating good stuff like this.....Bring it on and I'd even drink the PBR with it.

Thanks J, This was one of the best burgers I've had in a while.
