Guys, I've posted this before. Tonight I'm going to smoke some shrimp.

The things I'm not certain about are: (i) What temperture to smoke; (ii) approx how long; and (iii) to de-shell or not to de-shell?

Thanks!

The guys have given you some great references. Good luck with the Shrimp and be sure to post some qview

Hey gang, thanks for the advice. I followed jeff's method. The funny thing is, I've always been skeptical with Jeff's rub. I started using it on my ribs. Then eventually tested it with chicken breasts, followed by whole birds. I didn't think it would taste as good with shrimp but boy was I wrong. Oddly, I did notice that Jeff's rub has a sweet taste on the shrimp. I've never noticed this on other smokes but it was delightful.

I smoked at 225 degrees for about 20 minutes or so.  Also, I didn't use my AMNPS but rather a mixture of apple and hickory chips.

The only thing that I adjusted was, I put it on the stove for a few minutes to firm it up a bit. I'm not a fan of the softness that smoking does to meat, etc. For future smokes, I'm going to go with jumbo shrimp instead of large shrimp.

Thanks all for the advice.
