I'm alive and kickin'. I was inside a hyper baric chamber when it hit. What a ride. A hyper baric chamber is much like a MRI tube, only a little bigger and with a compression chamber. I'm waiting for the aftershakes...

Thanks everyone for the well wishes. A little damage but nothing too bad. Most everything is strapped down or locked up.
Lost a lamp and a picture frame...
Now the closet door won't shut right until the next good sized one hits!! I hate that!!

The local stores are closed to pick up the mess and put stuff back on the shelves. LAX had a water line break in the international terminal. I'm pretty much right on the epicenter but is was more of a rolling quake than a jolting one.

Dogs are a bit freaked out but fine.

Glad everyone is OK! Grew up on the New Madrid Fault (Missouri), got a lot of shakes, but don't remember anything over 4.0.

Glad to hear all are well. Hope nobody ruined any meat by having it fall off the smoker. I was in So Cal about an hour north of Victorville for 4 years and only felt 1 quake (a wicked 7.0 out in the desert), but have had 6 of them 5.0+ here in Indiana since I moved back in 2003. Wierd stuff.
