Hello, so I recently made myself an expanded metal charcoal basket for my sfb. I have an old chrome plated cooking grate that I want to add to the bottom for strength, should I be worried about the chrome on the grate or will this be a safe way to go? It's been used as a cooking grate for quite some time and has been exposed to a lot of heat in the past so I'm hoping this will work.
Thanks

I believe that is what Weber does with their grates, so I am guessing you should be fine.
