I hate severe weather. I'll take the blizzard we had a couple of weeks ago any day. Our severe weather season usually starts in late May and lasts through August. I've had to deal with hail damage several times in the last few years.

Tornado touched down in portland tn. Not far from here. Just a few miles east. Several injured and some destruction. Been pretty mild here. Did get 3 inches of rain. Gusty winds at times. Looks like I'm in the clear though. Stay safe my east Tennessee folks. Looks to be strengthening and headed y'all's way

Other than some serious wind we got off easy here. No tornados reported.
I have 3 stepdaughters in TN (2 in Clarksville and 1 just west of Monteagle). Haven't heard from them yet.

I live 15mi south of clarksville. Didn't really get much of anything in our area. Not sure about Monteagle

Yesterday was a rough one. Lost power twice. Continuous storms. No damage here though. Lots of flooding in tennessee. Beautiful day today
