Timberjet beat me to it...Yes there are some juices but it is not like a Water Balloon draining, and you should always have a drip pan or pan of Beans catching any stray juices. Additionally, we are talking a Pork Butt. You are correct that you do not go poking holes in anything you may eat less than pulled, like a Steak, Roast Beef or a Turkey...Asking questions is not disrespectful
