A Holler in North Iowa
Workin up in an old attic, house was built in the late 1800's. Was checkin fer problems an found this:

It was nailed down, face down (which really helped protect it), so it's amazin the condition it's in! Sure this is an original sign. Gonna do some research an see what I can find out about it.

It's goin out in the shop an hang with my other signs. Love old stuff like this.

formerly it was used for separating cream from the milk
now it is used nowhere more

my parents have something like that in the garden ,they plant flowers in it

I too have been a collector of signage. One of the few that I kept is a 1962 Philips 66 sign that is about 6x6, it was in a giant heavy frame. I love old signage.

I would bet this thing is probably worth several hundred dollars, like 600 at least, maybe a grand. That's a hell of a find.

There were two more up there, but unfortunately, somebody had cut big pieces outa em!

Like ta made me sick. But I got one good one outa the deal!

You can still find the old cream seperators round here, but there either junk er the people wan't a bloomin fortune fer em.

I try not ta buy my signs, I either get em fer free er some barterin.

That's a pretty neat sign. Of all your signs, what's your most prized? I have a client that collects old signs from gas stations and related products (tires, oil, etc) they're pretty cool.

Dude, the most prized sign I got is worth practically nothin on the market. It was the one that hung over my dads shop when he had the truckin business.

When the smoke clears out a bit in the shop I'll take some pics a what I got. Weather is less then friendly taday an supposed ta get worse, so I moved the drum smoker inside an through some wood in the stove! Kinda like smokin in the summer right now!

Although a bit foggy, gotta get an exhaust fan hooked up fer that!

Man thats a cool sign for sure there tip. I bet it is worth a handful of dollars.

Windy an rain here to, mixed in some snow. I didn't feel like standin out there in that so moved inta the shop. I'll be in there all winter!
