SAVORY SAUCE

Excellent for Pork or Chicken


1/2 onion, diced

3 cloves garlic, crushed

Sautéed in butter

1c white wine

3c chicken stock

2T Dijon

Reduced by 2/3rds, then season with salt pepper and sugar in the raw

Thicken with either a blonde roux or cornstarch slurry

I'm liking this. Can't do chicken but sure as heck will do it with pork. Simple and to the point but has to be really good....especially if you posted it :emoji_wink:

I will have to give this a shot. I have tried lots of your recipes and they have all been hits! My favorite is probably your cilantro lime slaw recipe that we have made numerous times.
 
Do you leave the onion and garlic pieces or strain?


Don't like chicken or allergy? Does chicken stock create the same issue?
I leave it in and make sure to spoon the bits atop the meat.
But a sieve or cheesecloth would work well.

I can just taste the chicken stock after it's made.
Definitely wouldn't use it if allergic.
