I have their 1088A vac sealer, sans roll bag holder, and love it. It comes with an extra heat strip, just in case. And I have the Big Bite #8. More than enough grinder for our household. Enjoy!

Just based of off my personal research, and some of the opinions of experienced sausage makers on this site. I'd say that the LEM 5lb is a solid stuffer.

I want that stuffer pretty bad... I've never owned one, and only stuffed from my grinder and it's a pain..
I am tempted to get this one however:

Come on guys, blow the dust off your wallets lol! I'll never touch a manual stuffer again...this juice was worth the squeeze.

Or does anyone have any quarrels or definite reasons not to go with Hakka brand?
such as this one: https://www.amazon.com/d/Sausage-St...?s=kitchen&ie=UTF8&qid=1543610784&sr=1-5&th=1

The problem I'm hearing with both of these stuffers is the elbow on the bottom that comes out to the tube... The elbows hold a LOT of meat that doesn't get pushed into the casing...

I think that is why it's the larger size (15lb and up) stuffers that have that design. When you compare the meat left in the elbow and stuffing tube to the overall capacity of a full batch it's probably 3% or less. I always used what was in the base of my 5lb model and in the stuffer tube for the test fry/cook treat after stuffing.
