Sausage, Its what's on the menu for this weekend!

Well the wife is heading out of town for the annual girls weekend at the Shamrock run in Portland. So that means I will be loading the smoker. We are out of Thai Jerky so I know that will be in the smoker. Probably should do some sticks or some thing too.

Going to have to see what the Sous Chef wants to cook. He's been bugging me to use the minitisserie, and wanting char sui pork. So that may be a dinner option.

Hmmm, maybe a smoked olive loaf. Wish I had a spring loaded terrine. Guess I could stuff into muslin.

Cash and Carry has boneless pork butt for $1.19 a pound. Guess I'll be making some sort of sausage.

The tip was on sale too. Damn freezer is too full right now!

So I've narrowed it down to several sausages. I think that I will do fresh brats, smoked kielbasa, and hot links. Now time to find the best recipes for each!

Well after pricing meat for jerky, there is going to be no jerky this weekend. All the good cuts are pricing ouit at $9-$12 per pound right now

So Its going to be sausage 4 ways. Some fresh, some smoked, all tasty!

Sure glad my weekend dance card is empty Case.  Sounds like I'll be wanting to pay attention to all this sausage.
