The owner - Steph is great - quick turn around, great product. There isn't anything I've tried that I haven't liked, although his Cherry rub is my favorite - I buy it in 5 pound bags. I haven't had his Peppered Cow yet, but I have heard good things about it. You can also buy other rubs from his site - I really like the Plowboys rubs too.
Like I said above - I used to make my own rubs, but like these so much I stopped.
If you do, tell him LMAJ sent you his way. Won't get either of us a thing, but o like folks to know when I am talking them up. Thanks... l-M AKA ellymaeThanks for the info. I'm going to order some tomorrow.
I had the fixin's for this last Sunday and followed this recipe to the letter. I had the Simply Marvelous Sweet Seduction and SM cherry rub. And some cherry wood. This recipe was the best ribs I have ever tried! Thanks, ellymae, for sharing this. I only got a small taste of these ribs last Sunday because the rest of the family ate the whole darn thing! No respect for the cook I guess.Spares - St Louis cut.
Simply Marvelous Cherry as a base
Simply Marvelous Sweet Seduction over that...
6ish hours in sweet blue with a little cherry smoke
It was delicious...
