Nice score Rick! That seems similar to the MB Gf 1050. Enjoy!

Will be putting it together tomorrow and burning it in.
I have a brisket to do.

Looking forward to the first cook, Rick!

I saw something similar at Costco the other day. I think it was made by Trager, so it probably cost twice as much as yours.

Yeah. It's compared to the trager.

Nice!! Congrats...that wife of yours is definitely a keeper! Mine would roll her eyes at me and tell me to keep moving - nothing to see here! :emoji_wink:

Red

Yep, mine too.
Mine too! I think we need to go shopping with Ricks wife!!!

Look forward to the put together and first cook post!!

Congrats and I'm in to see it put together in operation. It has an interesting feature to allow you to manually change the auger speed with the P-setting on the controller. Also looks to be double walled which is nice....

Well here it is.
Putting together.
I must say that all the pieces were well marked. I did find the section that was a PITA was putting the support and the bottom tray on the legs. They should have made it put the supports and tray on first then attach the legs. But oh well I got it.

And you will need some help cuz this is heavy.

Ok here I go.

Getting ready for the legs.
Assembly should have taken about an hour and half but right here my wife said
"Hey"
I need you to go uptown for me. So 2 hours later I got to continue.

The supports and the bottom tray....PITA part.

Well marked pieces.

Drip tray. Even though I washed it off I could still feel some sticky stuff from packing. It will burn off.

Three grates.

Side for the probes to go through.

This is how they compare to the Traeger.

Fold down side table

Two probes and a extra fuse.

Grease drip pan.
spg11.jpg

Includes a heavy cover.

Almost ready to burn in.
spg13.jpg

Doing a burn in at 350* for an hour.
Normal temp swings that I ain't going to gripe about.
spg14.jpg

This must be the storage for the probes?
I taped the fuse there also.

Brisket I will get to on Friday.

One thing I will suggest is ditching the guard.

Pellets in the hopper tend to "tunnel" and it is a heck of a lot easier to be able to swish them around with your hand rather than trying to shove something down through the grid to readjust the pellets in the hopper.
