It is sad to say that a co-worker of mine just found out last week his son has cancer. It cannot be operated on because it is growing around the brain stem. The little guy is 5 years old. Presently they travel to a childrens hospital 2 hours away everyday for radiation treatments.

We (at the shop I work for) are going to be having a cook off at work to raise money to help with travelling costs atc. They asked me if I work donate some sausage to raffle off in weekly draws.
I have offered to donate my time and cost to make 50 lbs of sausage. They will be getting back to me with in a couple of days, to let me know.

This little guy is in my prayers.
Andy.

I hate to see small children develop cancer or anyone else for that matter. My wife had it it six years ago and has been cancer free since. It was a tough road to travel. Thats when I got interested in herbal and other supplements. I'll pray for the little guy and his parents in hopes that he can beat this horrible thing.

Dang it... it's not fair! That really gets to me... kids should be immune to this crap. Send me an address, I can afford a small donation.

And of course a prayer or three hundred.

Andy, My heart goes out to the little guy, too da-n young for that to happen. You are a good man to do what you are doing

My prayers go out to that little boy and his whole family. Lost my dad to the very same thing 4 years ago. Its physically and emotionally draining on all involved. As a son it was difficult to see my dad, but as a dad I couldn't begin to imagine what it would be like to see my son go through that. I second Rich's request, after all what is a couple of bucks when you look at the big picture?

My prayers go out the the little guy...................Cancer is a terrible thing for anyone to have to go through espically at that young of an age..........I hope he can beat it...............

My thoughts and prayers are with him and Buzz is right; you are a good man.

Prayers are of course with you and your family. We lost our 13 year old nephew to brain cancer a few years back. No child or parent should have to endure that kind of suffering or loss. Just ain't right.

Lou

Andy, I will keep your friend's son and the whole family in my prayers. It just doesn't seem fair to have this happen to someone so young.

I'm sure that your kindness of donating your time and sausage to this cause will be much appreciated.

Thanks for being the person you are.

Steve

So sorry to hear this....my thoughts and prayers are with him and his family.
Andy, you are a good man...

That sucks andy, ya gotta wonder why these things happen to the little ones, they sure ain't done nothin to anybody cept try to bring a little happiness, tell yer friend we all be thinkin bout em.

Thanks for all the warm responses. Not sure if there is anything set up for donations except for at the shop. My co-worker is not at the shop too much and when he is there, its not for long. I will inquire about it the next time I see him.

Again, Thanks
Andy.
