Well I had the weekend off, and Saturday had the best forecast of the three days. Rain on Friday, cloudy and intermediate rain on Saturday, and SNOW on Sunday. It seems the weather girl nailed it on all three days. I'm glad I took a chance on the intermediate rain day.

First off the Beer pole. I got a great deal of 12oz PBRs. 18 pack for $11.00. View attachment 627243
First up get the meatloaf going. Lighty saute half the veggies in butter: Half an onion, half a yellow pepper, and a whole jalapeno pepper.

Grind the other halves in the food processor along with another jalapeno, carrot and a stalk of celery..

Break up 3.5lbs of ground beef, 1lb of pork, add seasoning. SPG, both veggie mixtures, Oats, 3 eggs, A1 sauce and some BBQ sauce. Gentle work ingredients to combine.

Free form into a loaf and add bacon:

Onto the original fatty: One chub of Jimmy Deans regular, sliced in half, stuffed with cheese and coated with Tony C's after it's put back together: I only got a shot of the cut in half. Messy fingers and all.

Ribs are next: Full rack of spares:

...and all onto the 26" kettle with the SnS. Apple wood for flavoring. Ribs are seasoned with SPOG

Ribs for supper: Glazed over with the sauce for the wifey.

I didn't slice the meatloaf or fatty till this morning, but here they are:

Thanks David and for the like. I have a soft spot for the bubble gum music of the 70s

Chris

Yes that was on my radio also, always switched it up, between that and Country, and some hard rock also. i guess I listened to almost everything.....except Opera, just could not get into it with the Horn helmet and the big metal pointy bras. lol :emoji_laughing:

Hot damn! Going all out. Everything looks amazing! Nice score on the PBR. The dollar general stores around here sell 12 packs of high life or icehouse for $6.95. Not quite up there with PBR but would do in a pinch.

Everything looks great Chris! What a way to enjoy a nice Saturday…good deal on the PBR, don’t want to advertise it too much though, need to keep the price down!

Excellent looking meal there Chris!
I think the best thing about a fattie is it can be smoked then refrigerated overnight, sliced & vac packed. Then nuked for 15 seconds & you would think it just came off the smoker, right?
Al

Nah! You need this on the post!

Then, you can have some tunes too!

Chris that is a great way to kick off the weekend for sure! Nice work, I can see that next day pan sear with sunny side eggs!!!
Thanks Civil and for the like. Yup pan sear a slab of loaf with a slice of cheddar. ummm good.

Clifish that's my grandsons root beer pole. I planted a PBR in that spot about three years ago and it's finally taking shape. A lot of trimming involved in getting the pole just right.

Looks like a great cook. And, just for the record, if you sold Beer Pole t-shirts I’d buy one.

Now there's an idea. The pet rock sold, maybe your onto something Sven.

I'm not to into country unless I'm watching a Shania Twain video, but I do like classic and progressive rock. With a little of the bubble gum rock mixed in.

Thanks Vol and for the like. Those are some good prices right there, and after the third one who would know the difference. Except maybe in the morning.

Appreciate it xray and the like. It's a perfect way to spend a Saturday. I really enjoyed the outside time. I know what you mean about advertising the PBRs. I think more folks in VT are lurking on the SMF website, because I'm starting to see more 12 packs of PBRs in peoples shopping carts these days.

Thanks Al and for the like. You are most correct about the fatty. A few seconds in the nuker and it's as good as the day it came off the smoker. Heads turn when I nuke them at work for my lunch. The smell just fills up the break room.

Beer pole menu.

Like an empty PBR can!
:emoji_laughing:

Beer pole menu you say. Umm, could be the name of a new food truck business. The Beer Pole BBQ, and we could sell beer pole tee-shirts on the side.
We don't crush our cans here. They get returned to the store for six cents apiece. I've got a 96 gallon trash can that I use to store the empties in until I bring them back to the store. A full trash can of empties equals about 27.00. More beer money.

Not on the Beer Pole Steve, but it would go nicely on the root beer pole. Thanks for the like also,

Chris

Thanks Robert and for the like. I've still got some of the meatloaf and fatty left waiting their turn to be transformed into my lunch. Just say the word.

Chris, I'm late to the party. Everything looks great. Excellent work, you nailed it all! I have to agree with previous comments, the Ribs are killer. I like some of the Bubble Gum 70's music too. Great job.

Thanks Mike and for the like. Never worry about being late to the party - it's ongoing.
