I'm really beginning to think someone up above has it out for me. Three weeks after I got my solar panels mounted to the new rack system I built, hail the size of softballs. Now I got the solar panels replaced and remounted and my mini split is on the fritz. I just can't catch a break. I've put so much in this truck the last 2 months just to get back to where I was 2 months ago. Back sliding again.... Haven't bought groceries in 2 months and now it looks likely the third month ......

So frustrated at the world right now

Has typical low Freon symptoms and I called around. New one is $420 repair likely in the $1200 range.

I have 2 splits in my house and both had the leak down that needed service. It was around $150 for the service calls. The shop is 3 blocks away so I got by cheap.
If your situation is a bad install, it will be the $420 they qouted for a full draw down., seal test, and full refill with fresh freon.
Get you unit road worthy. Driving to them is cheaper then a boondocks service call.

I don't know what happened to the post with the text but here we go again. Removed the roll up door. Installed a window for a window air conditioner. Insulation for the whole wall and the steel "header" haven't put on the siding because it has been 104!
