Just put my new Z-grill pellet grill 7000 series together. My question does it need to be seasoned to prevent rust? Last grill with side smoke box from sams club had issues where I missed seasoning. But this seems very well bad. What’s everybody thoughts on this.

Don't have a Z grill but i never seasoned my pellet pooper. Just gave it a hot burn out
That's all I did too from what I remember, but I don't reckon a coat of oil on the interior surfaces is going to hurt anything.
 
Does ZGrills have any recommendations on that?
If it's not stainless steel, I would. As you said, can't hurt...
